Rent a personal cabana at Heaven Fest

Crowd voluntarily being sprayed with water in 2012

The weather forecast for Heaven Fest 2012 is hot, hot and hot with some sun thrown in there, too.

We’ve got a bunch of ways to keep you from “dying”: refillable water bottle stations and a chill tent for starters.  Then we have the air-conditioned 24-7 Stage in the 1st National Bank building plus the Vision Experience, also air-conditioned, where you can meet the Heaevn Fest beneficiaries, the organizations that serve the poor, the exploited and the orphan.

No bueno

Last year, lots of people tried to sneak in pop-tents for shade…and lots of people got their tents taken away from them. We totally understand the desire to bring in a tent, but we’ve got a very great LEGAL option for you this year.

If you’ve got a large group, or someone who may need more shade for medical reasons, you can rent a 10×10 pop tent for the entire day of Heaven Fest. These are pre-approved and pre-permitted and there are a limited number of them available. The tents will be located near the three Main Stages, so you’ll be close enough to enjoy the music while avoiding heat stroke and the cost is $150.00 for the all day rental (Gates opening at 10 am – 11 pm after the Main Event).

This might be an exaggeration but you get the idea

We’ll hang a big sign with your name on it and help you get security if anyone tries to squat in your tent! Please note that we will only provide a tent so be sure to still bring your chairs, blankets, coolers, etc. (within regulation of course. All of the specifics of what is allowed in the festival can be found here.)

Please know that you are NOT allowed to sell anything from your tent, including the use of your tent! Tents are only for personal use. Not to be used to distribute information for any type of group, charity, etc. If the tents are damaged by renters, there will be an extra $100 charge.

Rent your personal shade tent space here!

or here: http://heavenfest.mybigcommerce.com/10-x-10-personal-shade-tent-rental/

The deadline to purchase shade tent space is Thursday, July 26th at midnight.

More stage schedules released!

The Vox Stage and the 24/7 Tent Stage Schedules have been released!

Feel free to use these stage schedules to plan out your day at Heaven Fest.  And remember, the Vox Stage to where artists get up close and personal with the audience, telling stories, answering questions, and so much more.  You never know what you’ll get at the Vox Stage!  Maybe you’ll even hear a special acoustic song from one of your favorite artists.

WHAT?? I can’t bring my stuff to Heaven Fest? (video blog)

Nobody likes to be told “no” but there are certain things we just can’t let through the gates at Heaven Fest for your safety and enjoyment, as much as anyone else’s!

We’ll try to explain WHY right here!

No beer, alcohol or illegal substances of any kind – no how, no way!  You won’t need them!  Anyone found under the influence will be escorted off the premises by law enforcement.

No bicycles, scooters, ATVs, motorized vehicles of ANY kind.    Why?  Because the fest grounds are walkable and we want to keep 40,000 people, including you, safe!

SIDE NOTE:  We DO have a designated Skateboard Park.  If you are under 18, you’ll need a signed waiver from your parent or guardian.  Get that here

No fireworks, balloons, permanent markers or spray paint please.  You know why!

No pets or animals on the festival grounds and for the love of pete – do NOT leave them in your car!  Heaven Fest is a human-only festival.  But when we all get to heaven…

Grandma’s 7-foot long couch, the dining room chairs and your backyard gazebo are a big, fat NO, too!  If you want to bring seating, may we suggest a nice picnic blanket or a low-slung (no more than 12″ off the ground) beach-style chair.  Ya know – so people can see over and around you!

Don’t bring glass containers or cans and no large, hard-sided coolers, please.  Why?  Because Ovations at The Ranch has secured a large number of amazing food vendors especially for HF-attendees with a huge variety of delicious food for your enjoyment!    YOU CAN bring a 12″ x 12″ x 12″ soft-sided cooler with some snacks and a refillable plastic water container or Thermos for drinking.

Leave your weapons, knives, guns, pocket knives and pepper spray at home.  Don’t bring hurtful stuff.  We have security to keep you safe.

Leave your worries somewhere, too.  Come and experience Heaven Fest and we hope you’ll run smack-dab into the Presence of the Lord and find out a little more about the Father’s Heart while you’re here!  Plus – ya know, the music…

See ya soon!

Jeanie Rhoades, festival director

Contain your…FOOD

Everyone gets hungry and thirsty-especially on hot-hot-hot days which is what Heaven Fest 2012 might be. We certainly want you to stay hydrated and keep that blood sugar up, but in order to make sure everyone is safe and happy; we’ve got some guidelines for you.
12″ x 12″ x 12″., soft-sided, only, as per The Ranch (the venue rented by Heaven Fest)

The Ranch has great food!

Ovation Food Services and Catering at The Ranch has gathered a bunch of great food vendors who are providing food and soft-drinks at Heaven Fest.  LOTS of great choices will be available!

But what if you want to bring your own peanut-butter and jelly sandwich???

Even though you might like to drag in your pick-up sized cooler, unfortunately it will not be allowed.  Heaven Fest only rents the venue and so we will respect The Ranch’s request to only allow each person to  bring a  12x12x12 soft-sided personal container.

Free water refills!

We also highly encourage you to bring a refillable water bottle, because thanks to Watermill Express we will have water stations for FREE refills in two locations on the grounds.
If you’ve got food at your campsite or want to go out to eat at one of the delicious restaurants nearby, as long as you keep your wristband intact you may come and go from the festival grounds, as you please.

Don’t bring these things, really!

No to these things:  illegal drugs/substances, alcohol, cans or glass bottles. Our security team will be checking the bags of everyone that enters.

Heaven Fest is going to be awesome!  Stay hydrated, stay fed, enjoy the day!!!

The MAP to the Treasure!

Due to wild and crazy traffic conditions on the day of Heaven Fest, may we suggest a more efficient route?  We’ve found that taking these exits instead of the ones promoted on mapquest will get you to the festival faster.

If you are traveling to Heaven Fest on I-25 from the north, go east on exit 262!

If you are traveling north on I-25, go east on exit 257.

Please DO NOT take the Crossroads exit or you will face horrible delays!  Really.  No kidding!

Our regular parking ($5 per car) is located across the road from The Ranch.  There are shuttles to get you to the festival.  But if you would like to park right at The Ranch, PREMIUM PARKING is available for $20 (cash only) by coming in on the northern EXIT 262!  Follow the signs.  Premium parking is limited, first come, first served.

Worry-Free {PREMIUM} Parking at Heaven Fest!

The last thing we want is for you to be stuck without a safe place to park your vehicle on the day of Heaven Fest.  That’s why we offer three parking options and a gold-star group of volunteers who will make sure it is hassle free.

Regular parking-

Your first option for parking is the $5.00 general parking lot. On the day of Heaven Fest, you can access this lot by exiting off of I-25 at 257 or 262 and follow the signs. We can only accept cash so please, please, PLEASE remember to bring some! You’ll need cash to buy yummy food from our vendors and awesome merchandise from the artists anyway, so come prepared! Even though we’ll have plenty of parking available, try and come early because gates open at 10am!

Premium Parking

Your second option for parking is the $20.00 premium parking lot. These spots are right on The Ranch’s complex and super accessible to the Front Gates. You can get them day of  ONLY BY USING exit 262 off I-25 (from the north) and following the signs for premium parking.  Cash only, please!

Handicap Accessible Parking

For those who need handicap accessible parking, we’ve got plenty of that, too. We’ll need your legally-acceptable status verification placards in place and HIGHLY visible. These spots are RIGHT by the south and east Front Gates, and cost $5.00.  Just follow the signs after you have exited at exit 262 or exit 257 off I-25.

No one wants to deal with traffic or parking problems when good music is waiting, so make sure you follow directions and any questions can be answered on our website at www.heavenfest.com/details/parking.

We Give The Ticket Money Away

We give away 100% of Heaven Fest ticket money!

One purpose of Heaven Fest is to ignite the people of our region with God’s heart for the poor, understanding our responsibility to help those less fortunate, both here and abroad.

We partner, in various ways, with reputable organizations that provide ministry and relief to the poor, the hungry, the exploited and the fatherless, like these listed below!

And that’s just to name a few or the organizations that benefit from Heaven Fest.  So when you pay $35 for a ticket to Heaven Fest, remember…  You’re not giving to Heaven Fest, You’re giving through Heaven Fest and your money is going to a great cause!

Any closer and you’d be on stage!

With Heaven Fest 2012 just around the corner-we’re at ten days people!- it’s important to make sure you have everything ready to go. A good place to start is with a ticket, because otherwise you’re not going to get too far on July 28th.

This year, we’re featuring the Front & Center Premium Pass. It’s totally awesome because you get to be right in front of the bands! I mean, who wouldn’t want VIP front of stage access when Switchfoot or Jeremy Camp or Underoath or any of the other super talented artists take the stage? Of the seven stages, you get front of stage access at the double Main Stage, Colorado Christian University Stage, the OtterBox Stage, AND the JCTV Stage. That’s double the stages from last year which means double the music options!

If you have a favorite band coming to Heaven Fest 2012, this is a great way to get that much closer to them! The $135.00 gets you admission in to the festival and an all day premium listening spot. You have to pre-purchase online at www.heavenfest.com/tickets. Don’t miss out!
