Dear Intercessors and Prayer Warriors of the Front Range region!

We bless you in the name of Jesus and thank you for assuming your position on the wall, seeking the Lord for the fulfillment of His promises for our city, state, region and nation! May we remind you that YOU are His delight!

Many of you have by now heard about Heaven Fest which is to take place July 26, 2008. Heaven Fest is a massive music and arts festival that will include 70+ artists, 7 stages, on 70 acres. We are calling people to come together for a day of festivities and a night of seeking the Lord. Heaven Fest is part of a movement of people who have a thirst for the presence of God and a hunger to see revival come to the Rocky Mountain region.

After incredible bands such as Seventh Day Slumber, Skillet and Jeremy Camp have performed during the day’s festivities; when the sun sets behind the Rocky Mountains and the sky turns to purple, The Main Event of Heaven Fest will begin! During this Main Event, you will not see a “big band”, a celebrity or someone worth talking about. Instead, a nameless, faceless worship band, along with tons of worshipers and pray-ers from around Colorado , will take the stage. There will be no video cameras and no photographers. What happens on that field will only be captured with your mind’s eye. We’re going to give a sea of people time to speak with the living God and to hear His voice. We are going to welcome the Holy Spirit of God to do what only He can do as we worship and boldly retell the message of Jesus… not watered down. The prayer of Heaven Fest is, “Lord, we invite YOU to be our most honored guest. Walk among us. Touch those that are broken and make them whole again. Find those who are lost and bring them home. Seek out the hurting and heal them with Your power. Lord, let Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Amen.”

We humbly ask for your participation and support. We recognize that your efforts in prayer have paved the way for much of the miraculous provision that we have already seen as the Lord supernaturally continues to make Heaven Fest a reality! We also recognize that we can not do this alone, nor do we desire to! We are inviting every intercessor from the region to join in, to ask for a breaking over the darkness within this state, and stand in the gap for our city. To ask God to come, rend the heavens and come down. To shake these mountains with His presence!

We invite you to join us for a strategic intercessory meeting to be held at Northern Hills Christian Church on Friday April 11, 2008. We would like to accommodate every pastor and intercessor who would like to come so, we are offering two opportunities to connect. The first will be at 1 pm, the second will be at 7 pm. In both meetings we will share our prayer strategy as well as discuss the opportunities for your participation to enable Heaven Fest to reach its fullest potential and to maximize spiritual impact for our city. Of course, it goes without saying we will also spend time seeking the Lord together in worship, His Word, and in prayer!
