Heaven Fest is a Christian Music Festival happening near Denver, Colorado on Saturday, July 31st 2010
Thousands and Thousands of people from all over Colorado, Wyoming, New Mexico, Utah Nebraska and Kansas will be coming to Denver to see over 70 bands and artists perform on 7 stages with 7 interactive areas.
For almost a year and I half I struggled with cutting. Then earlier this year my family and I started going to a new church, I accepted Christ into my life and I started their youth group. That's how I found out Heaven Fest! So I gathered some friends and we went. In the first half my friends and I wouldn't watch a whole band perform, we would only watch until we got board. We walked up to the main stage just as seventh day slumber was ending. So we stood there and listened to the lead singer Joseph talk about suicide. And that hit me personally because of my cutting. I began to cry and I was very touched by everything he said. Every since I have been like a different person. I haven't cut since and I haven't really wanted too. I am so proud of my self!! I also found three new bands and spent an amazing day praising God and having fun with my friends!!
