Human Resources – Volunteer Distribution

Have you always wanted to be a tour guide?  Are you good at psyching people up for the task at hand?  A prayer warrior?  We need some energetic folks who can lead groups of volunteers to their modules around the festival grounds, tell them all about what they’ll be doing with uber enthusiasm, and pray over them before releasing them to their service–requires a lot of walking and a lot of talking.  Four-hour shifts available all day!  (Last shift is a 5-hour shift)  Sign up online at www.heavenfest.com/volunteer and select the Human Resources – Volunteer Distribution position.

Sponsor GO Tickets

Heaven Fest has given away GO tickets to pastors and outreach organizations all over the Rocky Mountain region.  These GO tickets are for people who don’t know Jesus… YET! Here’s the concept:

GO-Matthew 28:19 (NIV) says, “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,”

ASK-Ask God which of your unsaved friends He wants you to invite. Ask them to come.

PRAY- Highjack your friend in prayer everyday at 7:28!  Pray that they will encounter God.

WALK-Walk alongside your friend after the event.  Disciple them.

You can help get people who need to experience the love of Jesus to Heaven Fest by sponsoring GO tickets.  Just follow this link http://heavenfest.mybigcommerce.com/sponsor-go-tickets/ where you can sponsor 1, 10, or even 100 GO tickets.  This loving act makes it possible to invite those who might not otherwise come to a Christian music festival. 

Because many people who don’t know Jesus will be joining us on the day of Heaven Fest, let’s be sure to welcome these guests into our family (the body of Christ.)  Let’s be gracious to one another, honoring each other through our words and our actions.  How cool would it be, if thousands of unbelievers experienced the Father’s heart for them through worship, the kind words of Christians, and the prayers of the body of Christ?  If you see someone smoking on the sidewalk, don’t avoid them… Reach out to them, talk to them, ask them if they are having a nice day.  This small act can change a life.

24-7 Worship and Prayer leading up to the Main Event

We are teaming up with an organization called Lite the Fire to kick off continuous, non-stop, 24-7 worship and prayer around the state of Colorado, starting the day of Heaven Fest!  This 24-7 worship and prayer movement will take place in churches, businesses, schools, and jails all around Colorado!

This lays the foundation for Heaven Fest.  Continuous prayer and worship.  It sets the stage for the Spirit of the Lord to be poured out over the grounds of Heaven Fest.  It prepares our hearts and minds to unite in Spirit and in truth at the festival.

Picture this.  As the sun is setting over the Rocky Mountains, we shut down every stage except one, and gather thousands of people together for the Main Event, where we make Jesus the Headliner!  The band isn’t named, nor are the speakers, because its not about their names… It’s about the name of Jesus!

All glory be to our God most high!

A week of 24/7 prayer

The road to Heaven Fest is paved through a lot of time, energy, ideas, and hardwork…  But the one thing that really lays the foundation for the entire festival is PRAYER.

During the week leading up to Heaven Fest, we do 24/7 prayer and worship at Resurection Fellowship Church in Loveland, CO.  There is a prayer wall and art wall where people can target the needs of Heaven Fest with some heavy prayer ammo and record their love for Jesus through artistic expression.

But you don’t have to come to the prayer room to join with us in the effort to lay this endeavor at the feet of Jesus…  People will be partnering with us in prayer all over the nation from their homes and churches.  We’d love to have you be a part of this exciting movement.  We’ll post the prayer points that will be in the 24/7 prayer room on the facebook fan page so you can pray along side the Heaven Fest staff.

“Last Tuesday night we had more than 30 people total bundling the Go-Tickets and praying their heads off. It was awesome. We bundled 41,996 tickets into bundles of 50 in about 1 hour and 45 minutes, then prayed them up! There was just such a cool sense of what God is going to do with them. Real people – getting the opportunity to encounter Jesus Christ on July 28! So cool!”
